O Christmas Tree...

Here is my Holiday card for this week's Addicted to CAS Challenge...

Needless to say I am still a newbie when it comes to Copic markers and for this clean and simple challenge I colored in this Christmas tree...
I used Stampendous Retro Tree-O stamp but ended up using just one of the three trees for this card...
I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black and used the following Copic markers
For the tree I used YG67 Moss
For the Christmas balls I used B04 Tahitian Blue, YR07 Cadmium Orange, V17 Amethyst, and R46 Strong Red
For the frame I used Lawn Fawn Say Cheese die cut and the paper is from Canvas Corp Kraft & Red Mini Dot Reverse
For the card I used Stampin' Up! Crumble Cake and a bit of washi tape to add a little pop to the frame...

Congrats....It's a Girl!

Here is my take on this week's Paper Smooches Sparks
Designers Draft Challenge...

I recently rediscovered my Sew easy tool and decided to give it a go with this card!
I used Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler...which I love very much...this was the first set I bought...
While looking at the sentiments Congratulations pop out at me and then I remembered I had
some Alphabet Soup Playing Cards for Girls and when I saw this playing card it all came together...
I used the DMC Floss to add a little pizzazz to the white to make it stand out plus two mismatched pink buttons to make the sentiment to make it stand out too...
Fun card to make...

Itty Bitty a Day Challenge ~ Day 2

I decided to step out of my comfort zone today with this card. A couple of years ago I bought the Sew easy to try my hand at stitching...needless to say I struggled with it and put it away! A couple of months ago my husband and I gave my craft room an upgrade and while going through things I found my Sew easy stuff. So today as I was playing around while my little one was down for a nap I took it out to try again...needless to say I need some more practice! I did a search on Pinterest for hand stitching on cards and after reading about trying it free hand this is what I came up with...

I pulled out some DMC floss that I had tucked away and attempted to stitch "thread" onto each spool of thread on the itty bitty By A Thread...I still have more practice on my stitching but I had a whole lot of fun making it!
I used Memento Tuxedo for the stamp and sentiment...I colored each spool and pulled out one of my few Copic markers to color the spools...I added some washi tape to add a little something extra and underneath the sentiment I free handed a simple stitch...
Needless to say I will be practicing!

Itty Bitty A Day Challenge...Day One

Here is my itty bitty A Day challenge day #1

I used (small things) Great Love itty bitty stamp and for the washi tape background I used a little bit washi stamp set...I really love this set! I used Stampin' Up! ink for the sentiment and washi tape stamp...A couple months ago I ran across a Pinterest idea for using a Kraft bag as an envelop and found this kraft bag on Etsy and thought it would make a fun envelop with this card...
I really had fun making this card and I love how the washi "tape" turned out again the Crumble cake card stock...

Camping on the Brain....

When I think of summer the first thing that pops into my head is camping! Growing up I camped quite a bit with my family. And now as an adult I still love to camp and fortunately my husband loves to camp too. This weeks Addicted to CAS code word is Summer and immediately I thought of this Unity stamp which is one of my favorite stamps...
I thought I would mix things up and try my hand at making a tag instead of a card...a first for me and loved making it! For the washi tape in the background I used another Unity stamp set that I have and love too...a little bit of washi...I recently got this set and immediately fell in love with it...
I used Stampin' Up! stamp pads and then individually cut out each washi tape stamp...
For the camper I also used Stampin' Up! stamp pad plus I used Stampin' Up! stampin' write markers to highlight some of the camper...And for the ribbon I used Stampin' Up! ribbon...
This was fun!

Lucky One...

Don't you just hate it when you have this great idea for a card challenge when you can't find the one stamp that you need? Well that happened to me but I improvised so I could make this card for Freshly Made Sketches #98...

Hopefully you figured out that I was making it like a slot machine and that you are lucky one in love...
For the cherries I used Stampin' Up! Tart & Tangy
I colored each cherry using Stampin' Up! stampin' write in Real Red and Old Olive
and the punched each of them..
and Stampin' Up! patterned paper.
As for my missing "Lucky One" stamp which I searched high and low but could not fine :(
I used micro soft word for the sentiment and printed it out on card stock
I also used AC twine behind the sentiment
Thank for stopping by!

Happy as you Choose To Be...

Well my summer is quickly coming to an end and needless to say I am enjoying time in my craft room before I head back to the classroom! Today I am taking part in Unity's Friends with Flair and this is what I came up with...
I used one of my new Unity itty bitty stamps Happy as you CHOOSE which I love!
I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo and used my Recollections markers to color the letters...I am starting to color more and more but still have some work to do! I used my Big Shot Bigz Top Note die cut in the white card stock and added the yellow to help pop out the colors and felt it needed something to bring it together and used one of my clips from Recollections...

Just a Note...

It has been a busy day for me in my craft room and especially with my new Unity a little bit washi stamp set...Here is my second card of the day using this set and needless to say I love it! I was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch # 40
Here is my interpretation...

I used Stampin' Up! ink on each of them and then cut them out individually...
The colors that I use tend to be my go to ones which include Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive and Real Red...
I played with how to lay them out a couple of times and decided on this pattern.
For the sentiment I used Unity Stamp set Just a Note in Stampin' Up! Night of Navy and used a Stampin' Up! punch too...
I love how the colors bring this CAS card together...

After a busy week of getting ready for my son's 4th birthday and I am back in the saddle again with making my cards...Today's card is for CAS(E) this sketch weekly challenge #39...

The patterned paper is MME On The Bright Side (both sides)
The camera stamp is from Lawn Fawn's Say Cheese
and the Smile Stamp is from Studio G
I used Memento Tuxedo Black for the sentiment
To color in the camera (still working on my coloring skills) I used Stampin' Up! stampin' write markers...Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight
For the frame I used my Big Shot and the Retro Frame for the Die Cut...
