Oh Christmas Tree...

Here is my latest Christmas Card...

It has been several years since I have made Christmas Cards...probably a good 5...I have made several different sets and so far this is my favorite one...I have to admit it was "Pininspired" from Pinterest and I am glad that I ran across it! I used Stampin' Up! Work of Art set for the tree...I used Mellow Moss for the tree, Chocolate Chip for the tree trunk, and I added randon red buttons I had in my stash...as for the sentiment "Cheers" from Stampin' Up! set Good Greetings I used Real Red...
I love how all the colors came together

Christmas Cheers....

This time of year I really love making cards for friends of mine but this year I decided I wanted to do something different to put their cards in...this is what I came up with...

About a year or so ago I bought kraft bags off of Etsy thinking I would use one day and now that day is here! For the trees I used Stampin' Up! tree punch, for the patterned paper I used American Crafts Christmas Paper ~ Wish List. The white paper is Stampin' Up! I used Mossy Meadow ink pad, and the ribbon is also Stampin' Up! and I found the mini clothes pin at Michael's. I really liked how all the colors came together

Unity {be inspired} Challenge

Here is my card for this month's Unity {be inspired} Challenge...I love the colors that were chosen for this month...I dusted off some old Stampin' Up designer series paper that I got years ago to use for this card...can't remember the name of it! The Unity stamp I used was one that I got from a grab bag...I love sentiments especially thank you ones because you can never say thank you enough! The silver brad flowers are also Stampin' Up...I recently did some "spring cleaning" in my craft room and "rediscovered" some fun embellishments including these flowers...

You scream...I scream for Ice Cream...

Have summer on the brain today and thought this stamp was perfect for that thought...Unity Stamp Co. More than Ice Cream...Whenever I hear the ice cream truck play it's music I instantly think back to when I was a kid and racing out to the street so I wouldn't miss it! I played with my Copic markers...still trying to master the art of coloring with these!

welcome home baby...

When I started to make this card I had no intention of it being a
baby card. I had what I call "card maker's block". I looked up at my
punches and the elephant one jumped out at me.
All of the sudden I thought of a baby card and then thought this sentiment would be perfect too. I really liked how this card turned out.

It's a Good Day...

Gotta love a Snow Day! Having a Snow Day gives me extra time to play around with my stamps. I have been on a Unity Stamp kick lately. Today I ended up using this adorable stamp. I wish I could hop on my bike right now but we have about a foot of snow on the ground!

An Elephant Never Forgets...

Growing up everyone told me that I had a memory like an elephant which is true! When I saw this stamp on the Unity Stamp Co. website it called my name! I have recently discovered burlap and thought this would be the perfect card to add to use it with. I also added the bow to kind of double promise that I will always remember...kind of like a bow that one ties around their finger so they don't forget! I used my usual Crumb Cake from Stampin' Up!, along with their Whisper White. I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink for the elephant and the sentiment. I used Cool Grey Copic Sketch marker (still working on my Copic coloring skills!) and Stampin' Up! stampin' write Melon Mambo for the heart and butterfly. For the punch I used Stampin' Up 2 1/2 inch Circle.

Matching Socks

This is one of my favorite Unity Stamp Co. stamps. I believe this was either my first or second stamp that I bought from them. I certainly live by this motto!
I used my usual Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake paper, Copic Markers, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and Stampin' Up! Clothes Pins. I am happy how it turned out!
