Celebrate ~ Always Playing with Paper ~ The Challenge #28

I have a friend who is due any day now and wanted to make her a card to celebrate the birth of her daughter! I used Stampin' Up! Good Greetings which happens to be one of my favorite sets that they have because you can use if for any occasion! I used Echo Park paper and Avery Elle Gift Tags Die. One of my favorite punches which fits perfectly for a baby card. I used Stampin' Up! Smoky Slate for the sentiment. For a little extra I ran the card through my Big Shot. I love how all the polka dots work well together. I hope she likes this card!

The End is Near ~ Always Playing with Paper Challenge #27

Here is my card for this challenge. I used my Stampin' Up! Aqua Painter for the first time today...still have much practice to do but it was fun! I used Unity Stamp Elephant Behind stamp...I love this stamp! I chose fun Echo Park patterned paper...I love mixing patterns together...I used Stampin' Up! Smoky Slate, Pear Pizzazz, and Regal Rose. I stamped the punch in Memento Tuxedo Black. I used the Aqua Painter for the elephant and butterfly. For a little extra "bling" I added the pink clothespin, green ribbon, and some pink enamel dots that I picked up at the Scarpbook Expo last summer. I spent a good week re organizing my craft room and found lots of goodies that I forgot about...it was like Christmas!

I truly enjoyed my week and wanted to thank all of you for the wonderful comments and thought this stamp fit perfectly with announing the two winners for the random 25 Unity stamps...

Thanks for sharing! I love unity sentiment stamps too but sometimes have no idea what to do with them! Other than stamp the inside of a card with them. Love that you've created a simple card around the focal sentiment. I might just have to go through my unity stash and give it a go myself! :)

And

Sweet April...she wrote from Day 5 Birdie Converstaion Note Cards...

Birdie Conversation Note Cards...Day 5 Growing In Unity

Welcome to Day 5! Today's project ended up being something competely different than what I had in mind and needless to say I am happy that I had "stampers block" and walked away from my desk to rethink things! I have been on a note card kick lately (3x3) and thought this stamp set Birdie Conversation by Lisa Arana would be perfect! This is actually my second time using this set to make note cards....this time I used Stampin' Up! Brights Collection for the card plus the ink and ribbon...I also used their Scalloped Tag Topper Punch for the tags...I added a bit of twine to finish off the ribbons...I used a fry box that I found at Michael's to put the note cards in...I love giving cards to friends and family members for any reason and when I do they always tell me that they don't want to use my cards because they are so pretty...
Thank you for stopping by this week and checking out my CAS creations...I really had fun sharing them with you all and I really appreciate all the wonderful comments that you have written...
It brought a smile to my face!
I will be picking two people to win 25 random stamps so keep an eye out!

Call Me...Growing In Unity Day 4

Welcome to day 4 of my Growing In Unity. This card is another Angie Blom one called Call Me...I'll Laugh at You...Can you tell that I love her stamps? I played around with a couple ideas on how to do this card. After a couple of ones that didn't hit home I decided to use the telephone stamp as a background stamp and I liked how it turned out...I am also into stapling these days and small clothes pins...I own a lot of those! I like how they can add a bit of fun to a card. Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to leave a comment!

Well I forgot about them and will digging around I found them tucked away and then thought what a fun embellishment! This stamp is called Well...Check you out by Tifany DeGough. Be Strong ~ Growing In Unity Day 2

Here is my card for Day 2 Growing In Unity. I am a huge fan of sentiment stamps and when I saw this one I knew I had to have it. I actually used two different stamp sets for this. The sentiment stamp is by Angie Blom which is called Bad Ass Everyday and then the I used Washi this Love (itty bitty) by Lisa Arana. I love how the washi tape stamp looks like a real piece of tape. This was a fun card to make.
Thanks for stopping by! Make sure you leave a comment to win 25 random stamps. See you tomorrow!
