Here are the two cards that I submitted in hoping to get published...I knew it was a looooong shot...but I thought...Why Not? I didn't make it...which is fine but I do hope one day that I might make it into a paper craft magazine...

Simple Hello

I really like simplicity when it comes to my cards and I am really happy how this turned out...the other day I sat down to look at some of my paper crafting magazines and noted several cards that I wanted to try and this one was on the top of the list...the inspiration for this card actually was an advertisment for a paper company...I used my Cricut to cut out the flower...the pattern paper and button is from SU! and I used thickers to spell out hello...I am thinking about making a set of cards using the flower and pattern paper but in different colors and different simple sentiments...

I made this card for a cousin of mine who had her baby girl this past Friday...I used SU! Crumb for my card...SU! Tangerine Tango Ink...SU! Grosgrain Ribbon Old Olive...Cosmo Cricket girl Friday pattern paper and buttons from one of my many containers of random button...

Baby Girl

My baby card making continues...I keep seeing fun ideas in my paper craft magazines...this card was inspired by a birthday card I saw in Paper Creations Magazine...I thought it would make a fun baby card...and here is how it turned out...I used my Cricut for the banner cut outs...Sassafras Pink Glitter Alpha for spelling out baby and the elephant punch from Martha Stewart...the card is from Studio G...I found a couple different card styles at my local Michael's and A.C. Moore for a dollar...not a bad find!

Thanks Sew Much

Having fun with my stamp set from My Little Shoe Box "Sew Cute" and SU! patterned paper...here is what I came up with it...I stamped the "spool" stamp, cut it out with some really sharp scissors and wrapped DMC floss around them, and one of the card stock stickers from the "Sew Cute" theme...something different! I used brads for the knobs on the sewing machine and stickers to spell out the sentiment...
